Wareham Canoe Club aims to provide a relaxed and informal environment for children to learn canoeing.

Situated perfectly in Wareham town centre the club takes full advantage of the River Frome which offers a beautiful stretch of sheltered water on which children play safely under the careful supervision of parents and staff. 

Established by Wareham Boat Hire Ltd the canoe club receives assistance from a number of experienced local paddlers, on hand to offer help and advice in a variety of boats – kayaks, canoes, single and crewed.

Currently we offer a kids club on Sunday mornings (term time) and on Tuesday mornings during the Summer holidays. 

Timings are subject to change due to weather, daylight and tides however club hours for 2021 are as follows; TBC due to COVID19
